These nematodes belong to the families Longidoridae and Trichodoridae, and transmit viruses belonging, respectively, to the genera Nepovirus and Tobravirus. Tobraviruses transmission is carried out by nematodes belonging to the genera Trichodorus and Paratrichodorus, Nepoviruses are transmitted longidorid nematodes of the genera Longidorus or Xiphinema.
