In order to figure out whether or not the existing subsurface drainage system runs effectively; groundwater level variation by monthly, seasonal and long years was determined from 1999 to 2004 years. During the irrigation seasons, monthly maximum ground water depth and average groundwater depth levels was determined between 0.20 m and 1.50 m, and 0.77 m and 1.50 m respectively. Drainage problem by irrigation was not examined in areas where subsurface drainage system installed. And also, the established drainage system was found effective and safe in this area.
