With increasing demand in agricultural products, alternative pest control methods have been
important owing to the negative effects of extensive pesticide applications. For this purpose biological
control, botanical pesticides, insect growth regulators and some entomopathogen microorganisms have
been used. However, related research on this subject has gradually increased throughout the world.
