¹ Batı Akdeniz Tarımsal Araştırma Enstitüsü Müdürlüğü, ANTALYA Viewed : 1155 - Downloaded : 497 In this study, the effects of both GA and BA on the yield and quality (i.e.flower-diameter, flower- 3 stalk length, flower-stalk thickness) of gerbera (Gerbera jamessonii X hybrida Pink Elegance) were studied. In trials, plants were sprayed monthly with125, 250, and 500 ppm doses of GA and 100, 200, and 3 400 ppm doses of BA between the months of October and March Results showed that the GA applications 3 were superior to BA applications where 125 ppm GA provided the best yield, and 500 ppm the longest 3 flower-stalk and widest flower-diameter whereas, 400 ppm BA application provided the thickest flowerstalk.
