Baby corns were harvested in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th and 8th days from silk emergence. The experiment was set up according to a randomized complete block design in a factorial arrangement with three replicates using the `Bora` F1 dent corn and `Merit` F1 sweet corn cultivars. The effects of harvest times on the dry matter rate, baby corn yield and other characteristics investigated, except for number of baby corn, both dent and sweet corn were statistically significant. Generally, investigated baby corn characteristics of dent corn cultivar were higher than sweet corn. The values of investigated baby corn characteristics in both cultivars were increased by delaying harvest time. The number of baby corn, dry matter rate, baby corn length, diameter, weight per baby corn and baby corn yield were measured between 8086.4-8457.9 number da-1, 10.91-16.21%, 9.07-16.16 cm, 11.04-18.13 mm, 16.31- 43.58 g and 130.54-266.69 kg da-1, respectively. It was recommended as harvest time of baby corn after 2 and 4 days from silk emergence for the both cultivars. Keywords : Baby corn; Yield; Baby corn characteristics
